“While the Sky Was Wild” is a large seascape sunset oil painting. 
 
It’s inspired by the sky over the sea at Dungerness on a crisp winter’s day and the title is from In Rodanthe by Emmylou Harris 
 
It's painted in shades of blue and grey with orange, yellow and white. The paint has a glossy sheen and is textured in parts. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas and it is signed on the back. 
 
It is ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
