The False Mirror

by Keith Waller

Original Artwork

An abstract canvas, a cosmic explosion frozen in time. Against a deep, midnight blue backdrop, a celestial body, vibrant red, seems to disintegrate, scattering fragments across the canvas. The red discs, like shattered stars, radiate outward, their edges blurred and indistinct. This is not a depiction of destruction, but of creation. The exploding planet, a symbol of chaos and rebirth, invites the viewer to contemplate the cyclical nature of existence. The red discs, like seeds scattered across the cosmos, represent the potential for new life, new worlds to emerge from the ashes of the old. The painting is a visual metaphor for the ever-changing nature of reality, a reminder that even in the face of destruction, there is always the possibility of renewal. It is a testament to the resilience of the universe, and the endless potential that lies within every moment.
