Self-portrait with The Empress Tarot Card. I've been reading tarot for about 6 years, which has been a process of learning to trust my intuition and see the balance between the good and bad. In tarot there are no real good or bad cards, they show a cycle of events. After something falls apart, it creates space to rebuild something new. The Empress card is the highest feminine card, representing creativity, abundance and fertility. I was trying to embody the power of the feminine and reconnect with my desire through this self-portrait. The rose relates to self-love, I would buy myself flowers when I felt low, it's also my middle name.
